Our Purpose and Goal

本会議の目的と開催の意義

The 9^th ASA Scientific Conference in Kyoto focuses exclusively on Angelman Syndrome (AS) and serves as an international platform for the exchange of knowledge-from cutting-edge therapeutic research to daily living support, education, and welfare- so that individuals with AS and their families can lead happier and more fulfilling lives.

By participating in this conference, we aim to create a space where individuals with AS, their families, teachers and supporters, researchers, healthcare professionals, as well as government and private companies can deepen their understanding and build meaningful connections.

It is also highly significant as the first ASA scientific conference to be held in Asia.

第9回ASA学術会議in京都はアンジェルマン症候群（以下AS）だけに焦点を当て、AS 当事者と家族がより幸せに充実した人生を送ることが出来るように、最前線の治療研究から日々の生活支援や教育、福祉等まで国際的に情報交換を行う場です。

この会議に参加することで、AS当事者、家族、教師やサポーター、研究者、医療従事者、さらには政府や民間企業までが理解を深め、結びつくことが出来る場を目指します。

ASAの学術会議として初めてアジアで開催されるという意味でも、意義深いものです。

※You can also reserve accommodation during the conference period through Registration. The hotel will be the DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Station.
